Rapper and record producer AKA confirmed at the weekend that he is officially off the market. The “Jika” hitmaker paid lobola for his fiancée Nelli Tembe. AKA shared the exciting news on social media, posting snaps of himself accompanied by a group of men who appeared to his lobola delegation.   A High ranking Joburg officer, a JMPD superintendent, was allegedly caught with his pants down, getting it on with a SAPS member on Friday. The alleged act by the two law enforcement officers prompted the wife of the high-ranking officer to allegedly inflict serious damage on the car that her husband had parked outside a Joburg bed and Breakfast where it was allegedly going down. The anger and disappointment can be heard from the wife of the superintendent.   Self-proclaimed prophet Shepard Bushiri has used his daughter's death to attack the South African government. She had been battling a severe lung infection. Bushiri said his daughter was blocked from getting the medical attention she needed in time when they were stopped from leaving Malawi for Nairobi in Kenya to seek medical attention. He said it was heart-breaking to hear doctors saying had she received the medical attention sooner, she would’ve been alive. “When I spoke to the doctor, he highlighted that if she had not been blocked at the airport the first time she needed to travel to Kenya for medical assistance, she wouldn’t have passed on. Families watched in horror on Sunday as one of the Eastern Cape’s biggest funeral parlours was gutted by a fire. Shweme & Shweme Funeral Parlour in Zwide kasi, Gqeberha, was almost completely destroyed, but the mortuary and admin blocks were not damaged. Bystanders took photos and videos of the fire and posted them on social media, which caused panic among those waiting for loved ones to be buried.   The wife of Pofadder hotelier Leon Brits has been arrested in connection with his murder last year, police said on Monday. According to police spokesperson Captain Sergio Kock, provincial organised crime detectives and other stakeholders arrested his widow at around 08:45 in Marchand, Kakamas. It was reported that Brits, 41, owned a hotel in Pofadder and was stabbed to death on 7 October 2020. His body was allegedly found floating in a swimming pool. Valuables, including firearms, a cellphone, Kruger Rands, polished diamonds and cash, were allegedly stolen from the premises. A family friend, at the time, claimed it looked as though Brits had been strangled with a dog chain and dragged to the pool. Police arrested three men soon after the incident, and one of them, Jacques van Vuuren, 37, was sentenced in the Kimberley High Court after entering into a plea bargain agreement last Thursday.
